MG Cannon celebrates VDA success
MG Cannon Accident Repair Centres is celebrating the success of Andy Gover of Westbury, who was named runner up in the 2019 BMW Vehicle Damage Assessor of the Year competition.
The competition brought together the top performing Vehicle Damage Assessors from the BMW approved repairer network to undertake a series of challenges covering various aspects of the vehicle damage assessment process.
The day included a full Audatex assessment on a damaged vehicle together with covering the individual’s insurance engineer negotiation skills, an in-depth BMW-based question paper and a retail role-play exercise designed to assess the overall customer experience.
Andrew Rodbourne, BMW bodyshop programme executive, said, ‘All of the finalists showed a great approach to the way the vehicle is assessed, paying particular attention to the accuracy of the assessment, identifying key repair and safety requirements, whilst showing competence in the retrieval and use of BMW repair methods.’
