Ford fair set for Portrush

The 15th annual Causeway Coast Ford Fair will be held at West Bay, Portrush on Sunday 2 June.

Hosted by TrustFord, this years’ event, run in conjunction with the Capri Club NI, RS Owners Club and Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, will see thousands of visitors flock to see their favourite Fords from through the ages.

The free-to-attend event is the largest static Ford display event in Ireland, and offers car enthusiasts and the general public the opportunity to browse through years of Ford heritage, with over 400 vehicles on display.

The theme for this year’s Ford Fair will be ’50 years of the Ford Capri’, with many classic examples of the model on show. It will showcase classic, vintage and sport vehicles, as well as a full range of the latest Ford Models provided by TrustFord.

Previous years have attracted upwards of 10,000 visitors, and the family fun event has raised thousands of pounds for charities, including British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK. This year’s chosen charity partner is Cancer Focus NI.

Stuart Foulds, chairman and chief executive of TrustFord, said, ‘The Causeway Coast Ford Fair is a fantastic day that really brings to life the full breadth and depth of vehicles on offer from Ford. It’s a unique opportunity for enthusiasts to celebrate classic, vintage and current models as part of a great family day out.’

Dermot Rafferty, general manager TrustFord Northern Ireland, said, ‘This year’s Causeway Coast Ford Fair is set to be another huge success. We’re excited to be partnering with Cancer Focus NI again this year, and proud that Ford Fair has the opportunity to give something back to the local community, who we rely on for support.’
