Fix names its six of the best

The final six technicians in the Fix Auto UK Masters Programme skills competition have been announced following a series of practical assessments held at the Thatcham Automotive Academy last week.

Ian Rowley from Fix Auto Rochdale and Malcolm Pope from Fix Auto Stevenage have been named as the network’s leading MET specialists. James Saint from Fix Auto Plymouth and Fix Auto West Hampstead’s Rui Henriques have been shortlisted as the final two in the paint category and the panel highest scorers have been confirmed as Martin Willis from Fix Auto Daventry and Michael Bushnell from Fix Auto Buckingham.

These six will now attend the 2019 Fix Auto UK National Conference next month as part of their prize. The winner and runner up for each category will be announced during the Annual Awards Dinner. Each champion will receive £500 and those that finish in second position will receive £100 from Fix Network World.  There are also a host of prizes for the final six which have kindly been donated from event sponsors AkzoNobel and 3M.

The winners of each category will go forward to the Fix Network World Masters in the future, which is due to take place every two years.
