Fix Auto expands into Gravesend
Fix Auto UK has announced RS Autocare from Gravesend in Kent has joined the network and will now operate as Fix Auto Gravesend.
The business was formed 35 years ago by owner Mickey Helaith’s uncle. Mickey took over the business six years ago and has joined the network in order to accelerate his plans to expand and develop the business into a multi-site operation.
Helaith said: “We have a great team here and the business has been providing retail customers with a fine service and exemplary repairs. Over recent times we have moved into repairing vehicles for insurance companies.
“I’m an estate agent and property developer with experience in running businesses. I took over the company six years ago and we’ve continued to thrive, I recognise I have a lot to learn about the industry, particularly in serving insurance companies which is an area where we have moved more into over the last 12 months or so.
“We need help and guidance if we are to continue to succeed and develop the business. I have big ambitions of where I want to take us and they certainly include developing into a multi-site operation. I am confident Fix Auto UK will provide the support we need.”
Fix Auto Gravesend is a 5,500 sqft two-boothed repair centre with a team of nine in place who have been repairing up to 20 vehicles a week.
Helaith added: “I walked into the Fix Auto UK National Conference and was completely bowled over by what I saw. The scale of the network was really impressive, as was the professionalism of all involved. You could instantly sense the magnitude in what Ian Pugh and his team are creating. If ever I needed confirmation I’d joined the right organisation, then attending the conference was it.”
Fix Auto UK’s Ian Pugh said: “Mickey has big ambitions for his business and we can certainly help to support and guide his journey. Bringing on another new franchisee from within the Home Counties is of huge benefit to help strengthen our network.”
