Fix Auto consolidates Edinburgh presence

Fix Auto UK’s position in central Edinburgh has been secured by Graeme Richardson and Ryan Matthews who formed GRM Bodycraft Ltd earlier this year. They are joining the network as Fix Auto Edinburgh Central.

While the Fix Auto Edinburgh Central name has been in the network for two years, Graeme and Ryan bought the business at the turn of the year and have spent the last seven months investing heavily and refurbishing the 18,000 sq ft twin-boothed site.

Richardson said: “We are extremely ambitious and joining Fix Auto UK has always been part of our plans. We believe this site will be able to repair between 160 and 200 cars per month. We have the internal infrastructure in place but we also recognise we need an external support system. We tailored our plans around being part of Fix Auto UK so we are delighted to finally be part of the network.”

Matthews added: “With Fix Auto UK we recognise there’s a network of experience just waiting to be tapped into. Graeme and I would like to develop this site and establish other repair centres in Scotland. The sky really is the limit for us, especially now we have joined.”

Ian Pugh of Fix Auto UK said: “It has long been our intention to develop our proposition in Scotland, maintaining our level of service in Edinburgh ensures our presence in the city. While Graeme and Ryan have been in the industry for a good many years, owning their own business is a relatively new chapter for them both. They are both ambitious and eager entrepreneurs. I wish them all the best.”
