EV on the rise in MK
Supporting the theory that installing the infrastructure will fast-track the uptake of electric vehicles, Milton Keynes has reported that ownership of EVs has more than doubled in the last two years.
Milton Keynes has 101 charging points per five-mile radius.
According to Admiral, the number of fully electric vehicles registered in Milton Keynes has risen 114% between 2016 and 2018.
And the trend is continuing to rise. Registrations in the first three months of this year already totalled 56% of last year’s figure.
