ChipsAway celebrates 25th birthday

ChipsAway celebrated a quarter of a century at Celtic Manor, when 240 delegates met for its Annual Conference.

Managing director Tim Harris launched the event by highlighting the key areas for growth and development in the future. This was followed by an update from technical director, Simon Kings, who highlighted ChipsAway’s dedication to training the franchise network on electric vehicles, advanced dent removal and ADAS, before Ella Pugh, head of sales and marketing concluded the presentations.

The conference was followed by a vendor show, where key industry experts and suppliers exhibited products throughout the afternoon, before celebrations continued into the evening with a glittering awards dinner.

The highly coveted award for ‘Mobile Franchisee of the Year’ went to Tan Likiliki, who only joined the network in 2017.

Harris said: “Tan is an extremely valued member of the ChipsAway network and very worthy winner of this title. He embodies the key values of the ChipsAway brand by delivering exceptional quality repairs, outstanding customer service and ultimately managing a fantastic local business.”

Other high achievers included ‘Newcomer of the Year’ Andy Hobbs, and ‘Marketeer of the Year’ Phil and Cas Clifford-Wareham.
