Zamparelli ready for Knockhill
Nationwide Accident Repair Services return to the track at Knockhill as Dino Zamparelli leads the title fight by four points over rival Tio Ellinas with just six races left to run.
Nationwide-backed driver, Dino, bounced back last time out in tricky conditions at Snetterton as rain made the circuit greasy, but the Bristolian had the pace in race one, taking a victory from second on the grid, and followed up with third place in the reverse grid race later that afternoon.
The Nationwide Team believe that getting it right the first time, every time, is one shared with the Nationwide-backed Redline Racing 911 GT3 Cup car. The company is continuously looking for improvements in the development of its people through training and progression, which is a belief shared by Dino as he and his team strive for improvements race-on-race.
‘I’m looking forward to Knockhill,’ Dino said, speaking ahead of the race. ‘I finished second there twice last year but this year we want to go for the pole and the race one win. With the way the regulations are this year, we’ll have to see where that puts us for race two but race one is where you bag your big points for the weekend.’
Nationwide’s Race Hub will be present at Knockhill, where guests can try to beat Dino’s time on the Nationwide Porsche Simulator. There’ll be collections for Cancer Research UK, Nationwide’s charity partner for 2018, and on Sunday, Nationwiders will be treated to an exclusive session to meet Dino, where he will sign autographs and pose for photographs.
