VW onboard with bodyshop Event
Volkswagen’s new Touareg will be a key feature at this year’s bodyshop Event, forming part of a strong Tech Talks line-up.
VWG’s contribution to the vehicle manufacturer educational programme – Tech Talks – will see the brand present its some of its latest product developments via the new Touareg V6 R-Line Tech 3.0 TDI 286PS 8-speed Auto Tiptronic 5 Door model. Presenting the vehicle will be VWG’s Brian Luckie, product manager and Chris Rutt, service delivery manager.

‘In the past year we have held several product awareness days at the VWG National Learning Centre aimed at raising awareness of the new construction techniques, systems and technology of our latest vehicles. ‘The Tech Talks programme provides us with another opportunity to reinforce that message to the industry.’
Tech Talks will see a select number of vehicle manufacturers have a vehicle on display throughout the daytime component of the event allowing delegates to be fully interactive. A representative from each brand will host two, 20 minute sessions (morning and afternoon) detailing some of the latest construction, systems and technologies featured on the vehicles and specifically aimed at educating the collision repair community.
