PSA to electrify product line by 2025
PSA Group plan to offer an electric option with all its models by 2025.
The company pledge to offer 40 electrified options across its five brands; Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall.
By 2030, PSA hope to have 80% of their cars installed with level two automation. In the same year, 10% of cars sold by the PSA Group will have up to level four and level five driverless capabilities.
The announcement came as chief executive, Carlos Tavares, plans to re-enter the US market with vehicles developed using the expertise of new acquisition, Opel.
Many carmakers have set out to offer most of their vehicles with hybrid technology or full battery electrification, to meet stricter emissions regulations.
