IBIS Ireland to explore salvage situation

IBIS Ireland 2018 will explore the current and potential future state of vehicle salvage within the Irish automotive claims market.

IBIS Ireland 2018, backed by lead partner AkzoNobel and partners Audatex, Fix Auto and Synergy, will see Darren Power, motor claims subject matter expert, IAEA and Justin Kavanagh, managing director, VMS debate how the area of salvage is evolving and what implications it could have on the local market.

Exploring areas such as categorisation, regulation, skills and technology the ‘salvage situation’ session will provide an all-encompassing overview of what can be a challenging aspect of the claims process to manage.

Jason Moseley, IBIS CEO, said, ‘We have some really interesting aspects to discuss during this session ranging from the current situation within the market right through to how digital systems, skillsets and vehicle technology are all set to have an impact.’

He continued, ‘The session forms another significant element to the exciting IBIS Ireland 2018 programme.’
