Fleet honours awarded
Mercedes-Benz has been named ‘Fleet Manufacturer of the Year’ at this year’s Fleet World Honours, which took place at the RAC Club.
The E-Class was also named ‘Best Executive Car’.
Rob East, head of fleet, Mercedes-Benz Cars UK, said, ‘This award is recognition of our consistent customer approach, which is made possible by the dedication of our retail partners. Our competitive product line-up is vital to our ongoing success, and with the new A-Class on the way it’s set to be another exciting year for Mercedes-Benz.’
Meanwhile, SEAT Fleet UK won the Most Improved Fleet Manufacturer award. The award comes after the brand achieved record true fleet sales in 2017.
SEAT UK head of fleet and business sales, Peter McDonald, said, ‘We are grateful to the Fleet World team and judges for recognising what is the result of a lot of very hard work on our part. It takes a huge effort from all areas of the business to engender a culture in which real, tangible improvements are made.
‘By offering fleets a more diverse choice of vehicles and providing genuinely helpful initiatives alongside first-rate service levels, we’ve been able to meet the high expectations of fleet and business drivers.’
