Covéa Women in Leadership programme
Covéa Insurance will be one of several companies supporting Leeds Beckett University to support its own ‘Women in Leadership’ programme.
The insurer will support a series of events and activities designed to accelerate the interest, ambition and potential of the university’s female students.
Tracey Lancaster, deputy vice chancellor, corporate communications, Leeds Beckett University, commented, ‘Our new Women in Leadership programme is designed to inspire, empower and fuel the aspirations of our female students. With access to research, case studies and personal reflection, students will develop new skills to support them as they carve out successful careers across a broad range of sectors. The programme has got off to a fantastic start, attracting students from a diverse spread of academic backgrounds. With the support from female leaders from a diverse set of backgrounds, including those within major employers such as Covéa Insurance, we expect the programme to go from strength to strength throughout 2018.’
Covéa Insurance has developed its own dedicated female development and networking programme, and over the last 18 months has hosted inspirational talks, workshops and the opportunity to learn from and share experiences with high profile female role models. The Inspire Leading Women programme has been well received by female employees as one of several initiatives to influence positive change within the organisation.
