Circle launches virtual 10k run

Circle Leasing are looking for the bodyshop industry’s most sinewy service operators, tenacious technicians and agile assessors after they launched a ‘virtual’ 10k run on 1 August.

The run is part of the company’s 2018 drive to raise funds for the Down’s Syndrome Association and Cancer Research UK.

The fastest participant in the race will receive a prize.

Here’s how it works:

Circle ask that participants make sure they can show them proof from a smartphone or watch that they have completed a 10km run after 1 August 2018; it doesn’t have to cover the whole distance in one go, participants can run the distance over several stages
When participants have completed 10km, send email screengrabs of proof to [email protected] with the subject ‘Virtual 10k’
Once Circle receive the screengrabs, the company will email individuals congratulating them on their achievement
Circle will also ask for a suggested minimum donation of £10 to the company’s Virgin Money Giving page and an address to where they can send the commemorative medal
After the donation has been processed, participants will receive your medal

The company will be publishing a monthly leaderboard showing the fastest runner at that stage before the race ends on 31 December. The overall winner will be announced early next year.
