CAPS set for GDPR challenge
CAPS has introduced a series of roadshows to assist its partners within the automotive supply chain to prepare for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The three, single day events will offer high profile presentations from leading insurers, parts distributors, bodyshop groups, and NBRA. Legal organisation, Bird & Bird will also be sharing some of its knowledge of the new regulations which come into force on 25 May 2018.
An online booking portal is now live for bodyshops and interested parties to join CAPS at one of its three events which take place at Hinkley Island (Jury’s Inn) Hotel on 11 April; Manchester United Football Club (Salford Suite) on 25 April; and Ascot Racecourse on 2 May.
CAPS members can attend for free by using their CAPS code at registration. A day delegate rate for non-CAPS users is available.
Kevern Thompson, CAPS commercial director, said, ‘We wish to welcome non-CAPS users to attend, as education, understanding of the CAPS platform and additional benefit from the event themed day, which will undoubtedly create a thought provoking environment.’
