CAPS appoints new chair of NAC
David Neave has been appointed chair of the CAPS National Advisory Council (NAC) following John O’Roarke’s 18-month tenure.
David Neave has helped shape the motor insurance industry through his involvement in many industry bodies and organisations throughout his career. His professional focus on personal lines and across all aspects of motor insurance, including underwriting, systems, customer care and claims, gives him a unique perspective from which to unite the collision repair industry through CAPS.
David Neave was with RSA for 25 years before moving to the general insurance group of the Co-op Insurance and then being appointed to the board of LV= Financial Services and as chair of the LV= General Insurance Group.
As chair of the CAPS NAC, David will use his expertise to ensure all partners are adequately represented, that decisions are in the long-term interests of all parties in the collision repair process, and that CAPS continues to grow in strength.
Commenting on his appointment, David Neave said, ‘Becoming chair of the CAPS NAC is important to me because technology is now at the heart of improving the customer experience for motor insurers and adding value for the customer. Data is also the key to unlocking value for businesses.’
