AutoRaise at World Skills Live
AutoRaise have been invited to showcase the opportunities available to young people within the UK’s vehicle body repair sector at the World Skills Live event.
The event – formerly known as the Skills Show – is the UK’s largest skills, apprenticeships and careers event, and is being held at the NEC in Birmingham between 15th and 17th November 2018.
During the event, the AutoRaise team will be joined by some current apprentice technicians at their stand in the main exhibition hall, whilst almost 75,000 visitors across three days will also be able to watch the finalists in the Automotive Body Repair and Automotive Refinishing WorldSkills UK National competitions, being judged at the show.
Commenting on the opportunity to exhibit at the World Skills UK Live event, AutoRaise CEO Bob Linwood said, ‘The profile of World Skills offers AutoRaise a unique opportunity to demonstrate the breadth of high-tech skills now deployed within the UK vehicle repair sector, especially supported by the growth in the types of apprenticeship opportunities now available. In a competitive labour market, we will demonstrate to young people the endless opportunities that exist in this industry and why now is the time to join.’
AutoRaise is encouraging bodyshops, apprentices, insurers and suppliers from our industry to get involved in the event.
