Auto Body Projects acquires Trend Tracker
Auto Body Projects Limited has announced that it has acquired the assets, data, intellectual property and trade mark of Trend Tracker for the UK Body Repair Market.
Trend Tracker Limited was formed in 2003 by research and market specialists as a company that was dedicated to providing accurate and informed automotive industry research. Since 2003, Trend Tracker has produced The Future of the UK Car Body Repair Market report, which is not only well established, but is renowned as the most credible and thorough research for this sector.
Mark Bull, director of Auto Body Projects explained the rationale behind the acquisition, ‘It came to my attention that Chris Oakham and his fellow directors at Trend Tracker were retiring and so it appeared to be a natural and excellent fit for Auto Body Projects to continue to develop the critical market analysis that Trend Tracker has delivered over the years.’
Chris Oakham, retired director of Trend Tracker Limited said, ‘I’ve been delighted with our discussions with Mark and I am pleased that he will continue the work that Trend Tracker has provided to date. His market-focused expertise and insight will only add to the solid foundations of the report and we wish Auto Body Projects every success in the future.’
