Sonne enjoys first year
Hella Sonne has enjoyed a successful first year in the UK, in the process establishing some true partnerships along the way.
A shining example of this comes in the example of Leon Evans, bodyshop group manager of The Trade Centre, Neath. The business has been using Hella Sonne now for five months and claims to ‘have never looked back’.
‘In October we had 488 cars come through the workshop and the majority were painted using Hella Sonne products. Going forward, we are going to be solely using their paint for all our vehicles at the centre,’ said Leon.
He continued, ‘We are currently looking to expand and will be using Hella Sonne in our new centres.’
The Trade Centre has also invested heavily in apprenticeships with one of its apprentices, Cory Maher, competing as a finalist in this year’s IMI Skill Auto event.
Cory, who won the bonnet design competition, said, ‘I had a brilliant time at the event and will not hesitate to do it again. I picked up some helpful skills that I will take with me for the rest of my career and this has certainly been beneficial at The Trade Centre, where I am always learning and developing on the job.’
