Nationwide shines at Donington Park
Nationwide Repairs driver Daniel Cammish put on an incredible display of driving skill at Donington Park to net an impressive points haul.
Supported by the Nationwide Motorglass team, Daniel endured a difficult qualifying session when he collided with a slower car meaning he lined up 10th and 20th on the grid for the two races.
But despite that setback he sliced through the field to finish second in the first race before taking fourth place in race two.
He said, ‘It was good. To come away with second and fourth is a huge result. I almost wrote the weekend off when I was stood at the side of the track in qualifying. As a damage limitation exercise it’s not bad at all. I’m going away on a high, we lost a few points to Charlie Eastwood and he’s had a great day but I’ll be back at Oulton.’
The championship now heads to the Cheshire circuit of Oulton Park for round five and six on 20 and 21 May.
