Worldwide appeal for Automechanika Birmingham
Visitors to the inaugural Automechanika Birmingham exhibition will be able to see the latest developments from around the world with exhibitors representing 30 key automotive countries.
China alone will have 61 aftermarket and supply chain companies taking part, with Korea (16) and Taiwan (15) also well represented.
The exhibition also boasts two national pavilions from Italy and Spain, with the Spanish pavilion organised by Sernauto, the Spanish Automotive Equipment and Components Manufacturers Association.
Event director Simon Albert said, ‘The motor industry in Britain is proving to be one of the most successful and innovative globally. It is, therefore, no wonder that major automotive supply companies are anxious to develop working relationships with UK vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers.
‘By the same token, the number of global companies attracted by the successful aftermarket in the UK is again proof of the buoyancy of the UK economy.’
Automechanika Birmingham will be staged at the NEC from 7 to 9 June.
