Winns gives Newcastle something to cheer
It’s not all bad news for Newcastle this morning – its football team might have been relegated by arch-rivals Sunderland last night, but there is something to shout about in the city.
Newcastle-based Winns, the B2B arm of Winn Solicitors, has just won a two-year contract with national insurance broker Barry Grainger Ltd and will be the company’s sole claims provider and first point of contact for the brokers’ some 17,000 clients nationwide, spanning various areas of the insurance industry.
Barry Grainger offers numerous motor insurance solutions with a predominant focus on cover for driving instructors.
The new contract comes just weeks after Winn Group secured an eight-figure refinancing deal with NatWest as part of its business growth strategy, as it continues to expand industry-wide and explore potential new areas of business.
Chris Birkett, director at Winns, said, ‘Barry Grainger is a successful and reputable company recognised up and down the country for its specialist services and niche customer offerings. We are delighted to be working with the broker to maintain and build upon its already reputable status and to further enhance customer experiences.
‘This is a very exciting time for Winns as we continue to develop our service offerings across the nation, while acquiring more market share and meeting and exceeding customer expectations at all times.’
