Glasurit playing the generation game
Glasurit Automotive Refinish will again be a key competition sponsor of The Skills Show, the UK’s largest national skills and careers event which is being held at the NEC Birmingham from 17-19 November.
‘The Skills Show is the perfect platform to showcase the investment Glasurit Automotive Refinish continues to make in supporting skills training and apprenticeships in the industry through ‘Educate’, Glasurit’s advanced education programme,’ said Colin Drain, BASF Coatings’ technical manager.
Representing the company at the show will be its technical and training team, Colin Drain, Mike Strydom, Carl Terry and Kevin Lloyd, who are dedicated to developing the vocational skills of automotive technicians at every level.
The young automotive refinish technicians that are demonstrating their skills include; Chris Jones, Cardiff & Vale College, Sinclair Audi; Theo Tsouknidas, Cardiff & Vale College, Nationwide Cardiff; Tom Harris, Cardiff & Vale College; Michael Massey, Chesterfield College, Alton Cars Ltd; Kirsty Ashley, Nova Training, Concept Refinishers and Daniel Appleby, Training 2000, JD Macadam & Son.
