Gemini makes two new additions
Gemini Accident Repairs UK Ltd has acquired two new shops – Carstruck of Yeovil and MMBRE of Worcester.
Carstruck is a thriving 9,000sqft facility in the heart of Yeovil, with owners Melanie and Martin who will be leaving the business as Gemini takeover this week.
MMBRE had a purpose built, state-of-the-art 15,000sqft facility in 2005. The business boasts Mercedes-Benz approval as well as government authority work such as Police, ambulance authorities and local council. The site also benefits from the ability of offering MOTs.
Dave Sargeant, managing director of Gemini Accident Repairs UK said, ‘Carstruck and MMBRE are very welcome additions to the group. The additions to the group take us over 17 sites with more in the pipeline to be announced shortly.’
He continued, ‘We have now restructured and redesigned the AutoRestore business successfully into Gemini, with all sites performing really well. We now have the infrastructure to continue with our expansion plans.’
Tim Hopkins, Gemini CEO said, ‘The MMBRE site is one we have been keen on purchasing for years, and we finally own it. The location and culture of the business fits Gemini perfectly. Adding in Mercedes-Benz approval here compliments the Mercedes-Benz, JLR, BMW and many other manufacturer approvals we have within the group.
‘In addition this now makes us the biggest independent ARC group in the UK and the second largest ARC chain with locations from the Pennines down to Cornwall. We are well structured, well financed and ready to continue our expansion within the UK.’
