Claims excellence winners announced

Insurance Times has revealed the winners of its Claims Excellence Awards 2016, with LV= Allianz and Cunningham Lindsey labelled as the ‘big winners’.

The awards, judged by a specialist jury, saw LV= scoop three awards for Claims Training Initiative of the Year – Insurer, Customer Care Initiative of the Year – Insurer and Fraud Prevention Initiative of the Year.

Allianz Insurance took the coveted Insurer Claims Team of the Year award whilst Cunningham Lindsey took the Customer Care Initiative of the Year – Business Partner and shared the plaudits of the Third Party Claims Management Team of the Year – General with partner BLM. The Third Party Claims Management Team of the Year – Motor went to Alps.

The Insurer Claims Initiative of the Year – Personal Lines went to winners Ageas and Aviva’s collaborative approach aimed at driving down the average life cycle for straightforward claims.
