Bodykraft launches fourth site

West Midlands-based accident repair company BodyKraft has announced plans to open a new express repair facility in Kingswinford.

The company intends to open its new ‘Fasttrack’ site on 8 February, in a 6,202 sqft development on the Pensnett Estate.

The facility is intended to primarily focus on minor body repairs. As part of its remit, it has purchased a £78,000 moveable spray booth and UV infrared drying system that will allow cars to be sprayed and dried in five minutes.

BodyKraft currently employs 90 people at its three other locations in the West Midlands, and intends to add another 12 with its new site.

Speaking to the Wolverhampton Express & Star newspaper, BodyKraft managing director Mike Pugh said, ‘We’re delighted that this new facility will mean more jobs for people in the Black Country. It’s the engine room of Britain and we need the best local people to be part of our team and what is the most ambitious initiative in our history.

‘Many of our customers are local people and businesses who rely on their vehicles and need them back on the road as quickly as possible, so our new rapid service means owners can have their cars and vans repaired on the same day.’
