Aviva takes four BIAs
Aviva were the biggest winners of the night at Post’s British Insurance Awards (BIA) 2016.
Aviva took the titles of brand management, claims initiative – insurer (jointly with Ageas), business sustainability/corporate social responsibility initiative and insurance personality of the year with its global general insurance chair Maurice Tulloch receiving the plaudit.
Tulloch told Post, ‘I came to the UK in 2013 determined to contribute to the important debates in the industry, and I look back over that period pleased by the progress we have all made in areas such as Flood Re and fraudulent whiplash claims.
‘Being recognised with this award, by some of the best insurance leaders I’ve had the pleasure of working with, is a wonderful surprise. I’m truly honoured and humbled.’
