Automechanika goes interactice
Automechanika Birmingham is hosting its very own interactive technology showcase at next week’s event – the ‘Workshop of the Future’.
Designed to offer visitors a valuable insight into the next generation of automotive technologies, the ‘Workshop of the Future’, at stand 10F8, will feature the latest developments and technology in the industry that will represent the future for the independent workshop.
The stand will host companies such as Delphi, Tesla, Hella, Gemco, IMI and S&B Automotive Training, all of which will be displaying their advanced products, including the latest electric vehicles, battery technology, technical training and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Tesla’s ‘Electric Vehicle and Battery Technology Zone’ will house the company’s Model S car and supercharger for the battery, which will demonstrate the electric vehicle and its charging capabilities.
The ‘ADAS Calibration Zone’ is represented by Hella’s workshop equipment brand, Hella Guttmann Solutions, which will be showcasing its latest camera and radar system calibration tool.
Meanwhile, S&B Automotive Training will host the ‘Training Zone’ to demonstrate the emergence of 3D and augmented training for workshop technicians.
Automechanika Birmingham takes place at the NEC on 7-9 June.
