Auto industry salaries upwardly mobile
The UK automotive sector was one of the top five industries for salary growth last year.
It recorded a 3.9 per cent growth in salaries compared to 2014 figures, according to CV-Library, a UK job site.
Construction topped the list with salary growth of 10.2%, followed by retail (5.9%), media (5.7%) and charity (4.2%).
CV-Library found that the average salary in the automotive industry rose from £29,298.08 in 2014 to £30,376.33 last year. In addition, the sector also recorded strong job growth with a 16.1% increase compared to 2014.
