Globaljig takes to US market

A UK bodyshop equipment supplier has supplied Queen City Autorebuild, of Wisconsin in the US, with the latest model in the Globaljig Super Rotax chassis repair range.

Super Rotax is the flagship model of a Globaljig Systems series that includes entry level quick-pulling systems plus the Globaljig Mobile, which, according to the company, is often the jig of choice ‘wherever clean rooms are installed’. A patented mono-cube anchoring system ensures that Globaljig Systems such as the Super Rotax can be used to measure and repair almost any make of vehicle.

Queen City Autorebuild is a specialist repairer of prestige models such as Maserati, Aston Martin and Jaguar. As Globaljig Systems are a preferred jig measuring system for all three of those prestige marques, and Tri-Sphere is the Italian equipment manufacturer’s preferred source of technical support in the US, the Stafford-based company was asked to manage the project from initial order to installation and staff training.

‘Queen City Autorebuild has an outstanding record in prestige vehicle repair, so the Globaljig Super Rotax is a perfect fit for their profile,’ says Tri-Sphere director Jim Masterson.

Already established as one of the leading vehicle repairers in the state, the installation of the Globaljig Super Rotax, just completed, leaves Queen City Autorebuild best placed to compete for a larger share of an expanding local market in top marque repairs.

Queen City Autorebuild’s Globaljig Super Rotax model is five metres long. It includes a five-tonne scissor-lift and a continuous rail around which two 10-tonne pulling towers slide quickly and easily into position, in order to provide a wide range of pulling angles.
A six metre Globaljig Super Rotax jig option has just been introduced.
