Covea first with Audatex training
Covea Insurance engineers have become the first entire team to achieve ‘distinction’ in the Certificate in Assessment Construction and Audit from Audatex.
Audatex worked closely with Covéa Insurance to create a bespoke, modular training programme with the aim of setting a new industry benchmark for the Audatex Certificate in Assessment Construction and Audit. A team of 18 Covéa Insurance claims motor engineers undertook the training programme and every attendee achieved a ‘distinction’ pass, resulting in an industry first.
Underpinning the success of the training programme was a detailed online Training Needs Analysis exercise conducted by Audatex to enable it to understand the objectives of the individuals taking part in the training. This resulted in bespoke sessions being created, to ensure the exact training needs of everyone were met. To achieve a ‘distinction’, candidates had to achieve a score of 92.5% or higher across a challenging series of theory, assessment construction and audit tests.
Alastair Sherwin, claims motor engineers team manager for Covéa Insurance, said, ‘I’ve always been confident that our engineers are amongst the very best in the industry and to achieve such an outstanding result really highlights this. It’s impressive enough for the whole operational team to achieve a distinction, but to be the first insurer ever to achieve this is truly exceptional.’
Layton Davies, national sales manager for Audatex, explained, ‘It’s extremely encouraging to see forward-thinking customers like Covéa Insurance invest in bespoke training and Audatex’s expertise, to help them operate best practice and improve their customer support.’
