Australian repairer looks to UK
Capital S.M.A.R.T, a global leader and innovator in the collision repair industry, is launching a campaign to attract managers and skilled technicians to join its team in Australia.
Over the next two years Capital S.M.A.R.T will continue to grow and this month will begin advertising in the UK for team members as it recognises the high skill levels of UK technicians and managers. Capital S.M.A.R.T already has a significant number of team members who emigrated from the UK. This further complements its apprenticeship and technician training programme providing employees a career path, resulting in 71% of current leadership roles filled internally. Capital S.M.A.R.T will hold a series of open evenings throughout the UK in May to promote opportunities within Australia.
After starting up in 2010 through a joint venture with Suncorp, a major insurance and banking group, Capital S.M.A.R.T has experienced rapid growth, with a network of centres in Australia and New Zealand repairing more than 130,000 cars per year. The business undertakes non-structural collision repairs on driveable vehicles in S.M.A.R.T and recently expanded into non-drive repairs through S.M.A.R.T Plus.
