Ashmore Ryder completes CSS safety audit

Ashmore Ryder has become one of the first accident repair centres in Ireland to successfully complete its third audit under the Certified Steel Standard (CSS).

This is the Society of Irish Motor Industry initiative, backed by the Road Safety Authority, introduced to promote a common safety standard in the field of structural vehicle body repair.

The Ashmore Ryder Accident Repair Centre was was one of the very first repairers in Ireland to achieve this prestigious standard. It is now part of a select national network of repairers who have the equipment, training and expertise to safety repair vehicles which require major structural rectification.

Achievement of this standard for the third year reflects Ashmore Ryder’s quality of workmanship, adherence to manufacturer recommended repair procedures and its willingness to invest in advanced equipment and training necessary for the repair of modern vehicles. It also provides all Ashmore Ryder customers and work providers with complete peace of mind when it comes to the quality, safety and integrity of repairs carried out in our workshop.

With modern vehicles becoming ever more technologically advanced and many new materials now used in their construction, it is absolutely essential that when these vehicles are repaired manufacturer recommended repair processes are followed. For example, if a car that features high strength steel is welded incorrectly, its structural integrity can be compromised and it will not provide a safe level of protection in an accident.

CSS ensures that at Ashmore Ryder all structural repairs are carried out in accordance with vehicle manufacturer recommendations, by staff trained in the latest repair techniques using the latest advanced technology precision calibrated equipment.

Ashmore Ryder and CSS is your guarantee of safety and quality when it comes to major structural damage to vehicles.
