Allstars announces 2016 charity plans
Planning is now underway for the annual Plunkys All Stars CF football, which in the past two years has helped raise over £10,000 for charity.
The ‘star-studded’ line-up charity match will this year take place at Carrow Road, the home of Norwich City Football Club on Thursday 19 May 2016.
The event, headed by Steve Plunkett, Volvo body and paint development manager at Remit Resourcing Ltd, will see Plunkys All Stars CF return against the @FNF FLK Mercenaries FC.
This year the match will be supporting the Alzheimer’s Society and aims to raise over £5,000 for the worthy cause.
‘Raising £10,000 in the past two years is not a bad effort for two teams of mates running around living the dream for 90 minutes,’ said Steve. ‘For the second year running, we have a sponsorship packages for the event available and any donations will ensure that your company logo appears in the match day programme.’
