Fix Auto Glasgow North begins acquisition strategy

Fix Auto Glasgow North has launched a programme of expansion by acquiring Fix Auto Wigan.

The move is part of a wider growth strategy that is expected to see several more acquisitions in the coming three years.

Owner Gerry Facenna said: “These are certainly exciting times for the industry as a whole and for our business. After 30 years repairing cars in Glasgow where we have built one of the largest bodyshops in Scotland, the time is now right to expand our business and explore other avenues.”

Fix Auto Wigan owner Andy Sankey will continue to manage the day-to-day running of the site.

Meanwhile, the network has also announced that three new East Anglia-based bodyshops have become franchisees, bringing a collective capacity for a further 200 repairs each month.

Bressingham Car Bodyshop will now operate as Fix Auto Diss, Norwich-based Autodoc has transitioned into Fix Auto West Norwich and Red Rocket Accident Repair Centre will now operate as Fix Auto Great Yarmouth.
